THIS PAGE IS DEDICATED TO OUR EXTENDED FAMILY.  MANY HAVE BEEN WITH US RIGHT FROM THE START, OTHERS WE MET ALONG THE WAY.  EACH ONE HAS CONTRIBUTED IDEAS, MATERIALS AND SUPPORT OVER THE YEARS. SOME OF OUR CIRCLE HAVE CROSSED OVER TO A NEW LIFE.  THEY ARE GREATLY MISSED. WE, HERE, AT JAKE’S MOUNTAIN  COULD NOT HAVE DONE THIS WITHOUT YOU ALL. SORRY, RAY, THEY WON’T LET ME SELL THE MOONSHINE.

THIS SONG IS DEDICATED TO YOU, OUR CIRCLE OF FRIENDS!

JAKE, LOYAL, BRAVE, LOVING AND BELOVED.

JAKE WATCHED OVER AND PROTECTED OUR FAMILY, HOME, LAND AND LIVESTOCK. HE HAD TREMENDOUS HEART AND UNENDING ENERGY.  THERE WAS NO LEAVING JAKE BEHIND, HE HAD TO BE IN ON EVERYRHING. FIFTEEN INCREDIBLE YEARS SEEM TO HAVE GONE BY IN A BLINK. OUR HEARTS ARE BROKEN AND OUR HOME IS DARKENED WITHOUT HIM.  REST IN PEACE, MY PUP.YOU ARE SO LOVED AND MISSED. YOU ARE FOREVER IN OUR HEARTS AND WILL NEVER BE FOGOTTEN.
 HOCAHE! MY LITTLE WARRIOR DOG.

Corinne was a long time friend of N.A.S.C.           A Horsewoman of the highest caliber, Corinne cared for Paso Fino Horses on her beloved Dragonfly Farm outside of Tallahassee, Fl. Corinne has contributed much to N.A.S.C. Corinne played a major part in the design and sale of a line of custom horse jewelry. We make a dream catcher that caries her name and is in her honor. Not once did Corinne ever complain of her illness and pain. She left our world with courage, dignity and grace. I hope, when my time comes, I can do the same. Rest easy, Dear Friend.

Evelyn has been with us since day one. She and her family have sent us hides, antlers and some of the most unique and unusual feathers we have ever seen. Evelyn was taken from us suddenly and too soon. Our hearts and prayers go out to her family.

A Soldier from the 3d U.S. Infantry Regiment (The Old Guard) places U.S. flags at headstones in Section 38 during Flags In at Arlington National Cemetery, Arlington, Virginia, May 24, 2018. For more than 60 years, Soldiers from the Old Guard have honored our nation’s fallen heroes by placing U.S. flags at gravesites for service members buried at both Arlington National Cemetery and the U.S. Soldiers’ and Airmen’s Home National Cemetery just prior to the Memorial Day weekend. Within four hours, more than 1,000 Soldiers placed 234,537 flags in front of every headstone and Columbarium and niche wall column. This was Harkin's third year participating in Flags In.
